Carolyn “Callie” Scully Fitzwater was born and raised in Winchester, Virginia. Upon her graduation from John Handley High School in 2004, Callie attended Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia where she acquired a B.A. in Business Administration. Thereafter, Callie received her J.D. degree from West Virginia University School of Law in Morgantown, West Virginia. In law school, Callie was an active member of Public Interest Advocates, an organization which promotes public interest lawyering. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Psi.

Callie, admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2014,  began her employment with Nate L. Adams, III, P.C. later that year. She maintains a general practice including domestic relations, wills and trusts, and civil litigation. Callie is certified by the Virginia Supreme Court to serve as a guardian ad litem for children. She is a member of the Virginia Bar Association and the Winchester-Frederick County Bar Association.

Callie has been active in the Winchester community as a member of the Rotary Club and currently serves as a volunteer for the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival.
